Hidden among the enchanting folds of the Alpujarra Mountains in Andalusia, a 500-year-old Moorish olive mill—lovingly restored into a sacred temple—awakens once again: Eden Molino de Benizalte.
Nestled near the luminous sufi village of Órgiva, this land carries something you can’t quite explain—only feel. Nature is vivid, people are real, and something ancient seems to move quietly through everything.

Conference of Birds is a retreat festival inspired by the timeless masterpiece The Conference of the Birds by the Persian Sufi poet Farid ud-Din Attar.
Over 7 days, we walk together through the 7 mystical valleys of love—Quest,Love,mystery and insight,detachment and freedom,unity,astonishment and Deprivation-symbolizing the inner stages of the seeker—guided by the eternal call of the Hoopoe to discover the Simurgh, the mythical king of birds, and ultimately… ourselves.

SACRED RITUALS
We are deeply blessed to welcome beloved teachers, healers, and friends who carry ancestral wisdom, restore the vision of the heart, and guide us back into ancient ways of connection. Through despacho, cacao and blue lotus ceremonies, men’s and women’s circles, sounding, grief ritual, water blessing, Extatic dance, Seven Direction prayers, and the sacred fire, we gather to remember our belonging to the Earth, to one another, and to the unseen realms of Spirit.
SACRED TRANSMISSION
Pathways of remembrance, devotion, integration, and inner transformation will be explored through Entering the Valleys, Sacred Whirling, Persian poetry, invocation of the flame, Dances of Universal Peace and deep sohbets with a spiritual master carrying the living essence of the tradition.
