Issa Baba, a California native, teaches and guides within a Sufi community rooted in the Chishti-Qadiri and Mevlevi lineages, with centers in Turkey and Mexico. Through this work, he seeks to preserve and transmit the spiritual, musical, and ritual heritage of the Islamic mystical tradition.

    TUĞBA BAŞARAN
    Student of Love

    She was born in Turkey, İstanbul and feels deeply connected to the land and its spiritual ancestors. Enjoys to discover immense esthetic cultural codes of different parts and different timelines of Anatolia following the footsteps of the Mother and the feminine spiritual wisdom. She intends to be a keeper of the traditional heritage of islamic sufism of Anatolia. She believes that the islamic sufi knowledge is one of the most grounded teachings to understand the human and its role on earth to be able to promote interfaith dialogue, peace and harmony. She is a devotional student of the sufi path following Chishty-Kadiri and Mevlevi orders. Having a diploma as a ceramic artist, painter and certified sound healer, she traveled for a few years seeking spiritual teachings and several healing methods. She came back discovering vocal work as the most subtle and powerful healing tool. İllein Kuymin, Kefas Berlin and Almunis Alejandra Ortiz are the theachers that shaped her vocal work. She facilitates women circles on connecting with the innate creative expression. Currently on the process of writing her thesis on poetics of female sufi poetry on divine love.

      MAHMOUD CHOUKI
      Master Guitarist, Multi-instrumentalist, Composer and Educator

      Mahmoud Chouki (Morocco, 1984) is a master guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and composer currently living and working in New Orleans. His art draws together music from several different international contexts to explore how music may speak across cultural divides. His own compositions incorporate musical influences from across the globe, ranging from European classical, Andalusian from Southern Spain, Levantine music from the Middle East, Maghrebian music from North Africa, Latin American music and jazz from the United States. Integrating sounds and rhythms from many different cultures, Chouki combines classical guitar with instruments such as the loutar, the oud, an oriental lute; the Algerian mandole, the Bağlama saz, the banjo, and a variety of percussion instruments.  is the consulting curator of music performances at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Most recently, he composed the music score for the 2021 Sundance Award winning film, “Ma Belle, Ma Beauty,” directed by New Orleans based filmmaker, Marion Hill. Also in 2021, Chouki was awarded 2020’s “Best Emerging Artist” by OffBeat Magazine’s annual “Best of the Beat”, Chouki recently was awarded 2022 “Best World Artist”

      ASHIRA (SHIRI) GURFINKEL
      Singer, Vocal Artist, Vocal Sound Healer

      Leading workshops, song circles and ceremonies of spiritual, emotional and physical transformations through our voice. In her workshops, Ashira is Using Shamanic methods, Tribal and Sacred singing, breaths, movement, and ancient prayers with an intuitive language of the soul. Leader of the "Neshamani" tribal and World Folklore choir, Israel Ashira graduated from Tel-Aviv University with a B.A in theatre and an M.F.A in directing, with a focus on research of ritual theatre. She is a certified Therapist in Bio-energy, Reflexology and Theta-Healing. Was initiated by Shaman White Eagle from Alaska during their Sacred Sound Healing tour in Europe. Tomeu, with nearly 30 years of experience in dance theater, specializes in butoh and experimental physical theater. He is passionate about inner and outer nature and about communication beyond words. She is a traveler of inner and outer valleys. Deeply rooted in Iran and Central Asia, she weaves shamanic practices, ancient ceremonies, and music into her path. For over fourteen years, she has walked the way of Sufism, while expressing her journey as an active musician across multiple projects.

      TUNCAY KORKMAZ 
      Turkish Contemporary Sufi Poet, Singer, Song Writer, Composer

      Tuncay is a contemporary Sufi poet, researching the golden ratio and the healing frequencies of Nature and in all living beings including birds and flowers. He was born in 1978 in Istanbul. Studied at Yıldız Technical University of Faculty of Art Design. He graduated from the Composition department. Bands he played with and their albums, from Anima/ Musician Melodies / Andan içeri Tuncay, who filled the hearts with hymns, to the sacred instruments he played; He gives life to the harmonica, guitar and oud with his voice. Lover Tuncay, whose deepest musical pursuit is to express Yunus Emre's poems through music, gives workshops on music and harmonica, touches the spirit of music in every being, gives pentatonic music concerts to pregnant and baby mothers.

      ÖZGÜR BABA 
      Turkish Mystic Sufi Musician

      Meet the wise white bird we call him "baba of freedom" His heart rhymes and sound of his cura invites heaven on earth with rainbow bridges. Özgür Baba is a Turkish folk musician and singer. He plays the cura baglama, a traditional Turkish string enstrument. His music is an enchanting, minimalist interpretation of old, traditional Turkish folk songs and his own music. He also uses a small karnatic percussion called Kanjira.

      RİLA KÖKSAL
      Cosmic Bridger, Poet, Ritual and Experience Designer

      I have always believed that what we seek is inside of us. A treasure to be discovered by listening our heart, love is the way to connect with our essence, holding the hand inside others, finding the road to our home, ascending together and sharing the path of growing. My life has always been a search for the divine truth and a willing to find the garden of alchemy where all the prayers blossom. I have Born in 1981, Studied Philosophy, Theater , Filmmaking, practiced Meditation, Sufism, Kabbalah, Amazonian Shamanism, Native American Red Path and ethnic Archaic music. I have learnt many ancient rhythmic patterns played with Al Kindi Ensemble gave concerts all around the world with my frame drum. The Rhythms and the ancient tunes has opened a portal for me to tap into Music of Spheres. During my travels in South America I met a lot of spiritual masters and learnt to work with the forces of Nature, self discovery and ancient healing techniques. I worked with voice healers, composers and therapists , released an album in Spain called Spreading the wings, Organized many women circles and healing ceremonies of Toltec, Quechua, Mapuche, Amazonian and Lakota medicine. ​Collecting different prayers and power songs from all around ancient paths which leads to devotion became my way to create and share a common language of love through music and dances of universal peace with my sacred instruments . My life path is dedicated to open spaces to inspire lovers to find their unique essence to use self expression to create a harmonious community and build a conscious evolution. ​The Conference of Birds Gathering vision was a revelation to fulfill this purpose to unite the spiritual paths,practices and songs together in the sacred temple of the birds .

      UYGAR KARADENİZ
      Music Lover, Song Writer, Intercultural Meditation Guide

      Studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering, earned his master’s degrees from Middle East Technical University and spent 20 years of his carrier working as Systems Engineer, Consultant, Program Manager and Regional Director on advanced military communication technology. He met with Mindfulness Meditation concept based on Vipassana Tradition at 2010. After an intense practice period, he observed dramatically positive changes in his life. Until then he speared most of his time experiencing and working deeply on different kind of meditation techniques. He travelled many countries for this purpose. In time he started to share his experience with people around him and started to provide support and guidance for their meditation practices. ​​Had a strong intention to find ways to solve many common problems of urban living with the potential of mindfulness based meditation. At 2018 he finalized his professional carrier, turn back to Turkey and founded Acaryasati Meditation Academy. He is teaching meditation, designing specially crafted guided meditations and meditation programs. He is very attracted to Sufizm and harmonizing Vipassana with Sufizm. He is also a Mindfulness Alliance certified meditation teacher.

      Artist, Musician, Dancer

      Aitana López is a pilgrim of the soul who walks the paths of dance, music, and mystery as gateways to sacred connection. Her journey has led her to explore more than 80 countries, drawing inspiration from diverse dance traditions around the world, including flamenco, Indian classical dance, and Sufi whirling. She is a guide of the Dances of Universal Peace and a devoted lover of music. She studied piano at the conservatory for ten years and also plays the guitar and harp and other instruments. Inspired by nature, the moon, and feminine wisdom, she created "The Reflection of Your Moon", a holistic language devoted to supporting women in reconnecting with their essence and cyclical nature through music, movement, and ritual. She is deeply passionate about the ocean — a diving guide, surfer, and close friend of dolphins and whales

      Canciones que Caminan is a nomadic world folk music project. Laura (Spain) and Fermín (Argentina) perform traditional music from different regions of the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and South America, which they have learned during their travels over the last decade, as well as original compositions born from those journeys. The repertoire is guided by the traditional instruments of these lands: Turkish oud, ney, and daf, in addition to guitar and violin.

      RUBÉN LLORACH

      Percussion, handpan, and composition

      Rubén Llorach has been a pioneer of the handpan in Spain since 2006. Throughout his career, he has performed and composed music for dance, circus, and theatre, as well as for short films and documentaries. He collaborated with Enrique Morente on the recording of “La nana de las cebollas.” He has worked as a percussionist with circus companies such as Cirque Imaginaire in the show “Storm,” featuring a cast of Cirque du Soleil artists and under the musical direction of Tim A. Duncan. He has also performed with Zen del Sur in the award-winning show “Heian,” as well as in “Wake App.” Rubén is the director and composer of the handpan group Aikyo, which went viral on YouTube with millions of views for his original composition “Cajita de música.” He has extensive experience performing across Spain and at numerous international festivals, including Sziget in Budapest, Isny in Germany, Ficho in Guadalajara and Mexico City, and Awaji Art Circus in Japan.

      NELO ROYNER

      Musician, Storyteller and Music Therapist

      His exploration of the voice has led him to train in various vocal techniques, as well as having received training in theatre, clowning and storytelling. He is the creator of several shows in which storytelling and song intertwine to tell a story: “The Bluesterapia Show”, “The Pilgrim who found his home” and “Walking the line”. A music therapist qualified from the University of Barcelona (UB) and trained in Mindfulness, he has facilitated meditation and music therapy workshops in various settings and with different groups: mental health, education, prisons, day centres, associations and mindfulness groups.

      Mystery is an initiated healer into. Capanahua Curanderismo, a medicine woman and wisdom carrier of Womb Shamanism. Within her work, she is guiding men and women through initiation journeys into ancestral healing, reconnection with their unique soul prayers, purpose and unity consciousness. Mystery guides people in traditional Plant Medicine Diets with her Maestro in the Peruvian jungle or on her land in Spain and holds healing spaces for women to remember the power of their womb.

      MARIANA ROOT

      Singer, Songwriter and Composer

      Mariana Root (Porto, Portugal, 1988) is a singer-songwriter and composer born into a family of traditional women singers, all bearing the middle name Rute. Drawing from melodies passed down by her grandmother and aunts, she reimagines ancestral songs through a contemporary lens, weaving them with original lyrics that reflect her distinctive artistic vision. Over the past decade, Mariana has conducted extensive musical research in the Beira Baixa region of Portugal. This work gave rise to Conhecer os Cantos à Casa, an immersive project that bridges younger generations with the elders of the square drum Adufe, guardians of the region’s rich traditional musical heritage. On stage, accompanied by her percussion, guitar, ronroco, Mariana is known for her expressive improvisation and the rich sonic textures of her voice, interwoven with original compositions featured across her five released albums. Holding a degree in Jazz Singing, she spent nearly four years living in the Peruvian Andes, where encounters with Indigenous cultures from the Amazon and the Andean mountains profoundly shaped her artistic language. These experiences continue to resonate in her vocal expression, deep connection to ancestry, and relationship with the natural world.

      Kulam Project is a transformative live music and embodied experience founded by Nir Shraiber and Romina Ibáñez. Born in the vibrant conscious community of Koh Phangan, Thailand, and now based in Andalucía, Spain, the project has been bringing people together through music, movement, and co-creation since 2018. At the heart of Kulam Project is the belief that music is a universal language capable of reconnecting us with ourselves, each other, and life itself. Every gathering is an invitation to celebrate, express, and remember our shared humanity through sound, movement, voice, and presence. The signature offering, Live Ecstatic Orchestra, is a one-of-a-kind experience where a core group of musicians, guided by Nir Shraiber, co-creates a fully improvised live orchestra together with professional local musicians or artists from the festival lineup. No performance is rehearsed or repeated. The music emerges in real time, responding to the energy of the dancers, the musicians, the land, and the present moment, creating an unforgettable ecstatic journey. Alongside the Live Ecstatic Orchestra, Kulam Project also offers Ecstatic Dance DJ Journeys, Healing Voices vocal workshops, The Tribal Experiment, cacao ceremonies, singing circles, and other immersive experiences that combine somatic practices, ritual, music, and community. Over the years, Kulam Project has shared its work at festivals, retreats, conscious gatherings, and communities across Europe and beyond, collaborating with hundreds of musicians and thousands of participants. Every event is unique, rooted in improvisation, participation, and collective creation. More than a performance, Kulam Project is a living movement that transforms audiences into participants, musicians into one orchestra, and gatherings into deeply meaningful celebrations of connection, freedom, and joy.       Jeva is a ceremonial artist, producer of transformational gatherings, and steward of immersive spaces devoted to beauty, remembrance, and human awakening. Through sacred song, ancient devotional music, and vibrational sound work, her offerings invite the heart to melt into the honey of pure love, connection, and communion with the living mystery that unites all beings. Her path has unfolded through years of study, pilgrimage, and close apprenticeship alongside respected sound practitioners, wisdom keepers, and spiritual teachers from diverse traditions. Rooted in a lineage of sacred service as a priestess, her work is devoted to cultivating rosy and holy fields of harmony, presence, and human flourishing through sound, ritual arts, education, and gatherings that awaken remembrance of the deeper unity at the heart of life. Originally from the United States, her journey has carried her through India, Egypt, South America, and now Andalucía, where she is helping bring forth a sanctuary and school devoted to sacred sound, inner cultivation, holistic wellbeing, conscious relationship, and the restoration of a more harmonious relationship between humanity, nature, creativity, and the wise stewardship of life and resources.

Ra and mystery has another project which is to the world renowned centre Hidden Paradise. He together with Mystery have woven in deep communion with the guardians of the Benizalte Mill the ancient threads and blown new life into this sacred land.

          DERK ROSSBACH

          Violinist

          Since his childhood, music and violin lessons had been an important part of Derk’s life. He then studied professionally at the music schools of Graz (Austria), Saarbrücken (Germany) and at Indiana University Bloomington (USA). Later he worked as a freelance musician, collaborating with orchestras such as the Stuttgart Philharmonic, the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra, the Karlsruhe Chamber Philharmonic, the City of Granada Orchestra, and the City of Almería Orchestra. He also worked on projects as a soloist, in chamber music, on experimental and educational projects with children and as a violin teacher. He has performed in concerts that have taken him to 14 different countries. Since 2003, he has been distancing from the classical world, exploring new ways in the use of the violin, seeking free improvisation and collaborating in world music, poetry, dance, theatre and mime performances, experiencing the mutual inspiration between physical and musical expression. Since then, music has become another value for Derk, as his favourite projects are being those in which there is no separation between public and performer but where there is a mutual inspiration of everybody that is present in the space. Derk sees the importance of creating protected spaces where the meditative and healing quality can take over…

            TAYA MA SHERE 

            Ceremonial Artist , Priestess

            Taya Mâ Shere is a ritual artist and priestess whose work centers embodied, earth-honoring devotion as a liberatory spiritual practice. She is a professor of Organic Multi-Religious Ritual at Starr King School for the Ministry and Associate Director of the Center for Multi-Religious Studies, where she co-convenes The House of Dates. She is also the founder of From the Deep, an emergent mystery school of earth, sea, and soma. She hosts the acclaimed Jewish Ancestral Healing podcast and The Sarah & Hajar Series, exploring sacred practice at the intersections of Judaism and Islam, and co-hosted the Shift Network’s Mystics Summit.She offers online courses and sessions in Ancestral Exuberance, Embodied Presence and Pleasure as Prayer. Taya Mâ co-founded the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess movement and co-authored The Hebrew Priestess and Siddur haKohanot. She also co-founded Makam Shekhina, a multi-religious Jewish and Sufi Muslim community committed to counter-oppressive devotion, with Shaykh Dr. Ibrahim Baba Farajaje. Her albums of sacred chant have been praised as “cutting-edge mystic medicine music” and as transmissions that tap into collective memory.
